Delivery scope to evaluate

Depending on the project, the evaluation can cover as-cast parts, secondary machining, surface treatment and finished-part delivery. New projects are reviewed before tooling, prototype timing, production conditions and quotation are confirmed.

Quality and documentation

Dimensions, appearance, material and performance requirements should be agreed before ordering. If material certificates, dimensional reports or other project documents are required, list them in the RFQ.

Which magnesium alloys are commonly used for die casting?

Common options include AZ91D, AM60B and AS41. AZ91D supports complex thin-wall casting, AM60B emphasizes ductility and impact energy absorption, and AS41 is considered when improved creep resistance at moderate temperature is required. Final selection depends on the part and service conditions.

Can magnesium die-cast parts be customized from drawings?

Yes, drawing-based project evaluation is available. Provide 2D/3D drawings, the target alloy or performance requirements, forecast volume, surface treatment and inspection needs for manufacturability and quotation review.

Can you evaluate machining and surface finishing after casting?

Secondary machining, surface treatment and finished-part delivery can be evaluated by project. The process route and acceptance criteria should be confirmed during technical review.
